NGO PeachAID

This project was prompted by the Boko Haram conflicts in North East of Nigeria which has seen more than a million innocent women and girls displaced. Many of these women no longer have resources, and resort to desperate measures during their menstruation; most of them use dirty piece of cloth and sand in bowl as an alternative to pad and tampon during menstrual flow, which leaves them easily stained, embarrassed and prone to infections. Thus, PMI started accessing and distributing Menstrual cups with training and guidance on the use.

The NGO PeachAID Medical Initiative is at the front line for transforming the lives of many women, through the immesurable courage of the doctor Nkasi Obim Nebo.
